An outdoor recreation survey launched this week to gather feedback for Nevada’s Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). Outdoor enthusiasts are asked to complete the survey, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes, to support the five-year update of the plan and helps establish funding priorities related to outdoor recreation and facilities.

The survey was launched by the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation and the Nevada Division of State Parks. Officials from the agencies said in a statement that public input gathered from the survey is critical for creating a comprehensive plan that addresses the outdoor recreation needs of all Nevadans.

The survey covers all types of recreational use of Nevada’s outdoor areas and gauges the public’s usage, demand and preferences for outdoor activities. It’s open through March 31 at the links below.
